Family First Café.
At SRI, food is about connection, wellbeing and balance. Meals are prepared fresh daily by our Family First Café team, with options designed for every age and dietary need.
Meal plans are managed through the GEMS Connect app. Log in, tap the Catering icon, and you'll be guided through subscription in a few easy steps.

How Meals Are Served
Meals for students in the Early Years and lower primary years are delivered directly to their classroom in bento boxes, ensuring safe, age-appropriate handling.
Students in Year 4 and above collect their meals from the dining hall during their allocated lunch period.
Dietary Needs & Allergies
During subscription, you can specify dietary restrictions, allergies, vegetarian or non-vegetarian preference, and any medical conditions affecting food intake.
All menus are planned with allergen awareness and full allergen information is visible on every menu item in the app.
Payment
Meals are accessed via subscription or prepaid wallet - there are no direct cash purchases. Accepted payment methods include GEMS Rewards, credit or debit card, wallet balance, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
Meals During Ramadan
No meal service is provided during the Ramadan break, in line with GEMS and UAE guidelines. Subscription pricing already reflects this, you are never charged for days when no service is provided. During Ramadan school days (when school runs with reduced hours), students can purchase light refreshments through the pay-as-you-go wallet.
Managing Your Subscription

Mid-term subscriptions aren't accepted; enrollment defers to the next term. As an alternative, you can top up your child's wallet and pay as you go, with no fixed commitment. Full-term or annual enrollment must be completed at least one week before the term starts. Subscriptions cannot be paused once a term is in progress, and a minimum of one full term's written notice is required to cancel.
